At a muddy venue in Redditch during the cyclo cross season of 2005-6. The cameraman making good the darkness surrounding of the trees although this was mid morning. One of my favourite pictures showing what a cyclo cross race is all about. Thankfully this was only a forty minute race as the weather had made the temperature really cold and it was good to have a hot shower afterwards.That particular season was from September to February racing and included the regional,national and also the world masters in Belgium. A really enjoyable winter season where the weather was never that cold or inclement to stop you.
